22 Dec 2021- Our Assembly Day

 An unforgettable day. It was our's assembly day. We all reached our college early and got prepared for it. We wore our uniform saree. Everyone in our class was assigned for each program in the assembly. We started with our college anthem and then prayer, thought for the day, news, importance of the week, importance of the day, quiz, campus news and then finally national anthem. In the absence of our principal our dearest Joju sir gave us today's message in the assembly. 

It was a coincidence that our assembly day 22nd December was 'National Mathematics Day'. As a part of this day our Mathematics Association conducted a Quiz in the assembly. Everyone took part actively in it. Prizes were given to the winners. Felt very proud that I could conduct it. 🥰🥰🥰



Our Mathematics Association's name and logo was released during the assembly by Joju sir.

After that we had our optional class. Deepthi teacher appreciated us that we conducted our assembly very well. Then teacher continued yesterday's topic 'different phases of teaching'. 


After that Maya teacher handled the session by discussing qualities and competencies of a teacher.
The next session was followed by Ancy teacher. She taught us the Principles of development. Afternoon session was also conducted by Ancy teacher. After her class students went for practicing cultural programmes.

Tomorrow is our Christmas celebration. 🎅Our class is also going to take part in the programme. We are preparing for Role play. 🥳🥳 We planned and practiced for it. 😍🥰

 Today it was the third day of our school induction programme. The day started with prayer song and pledge. Sr Deepa and myself observed Mathematics class of Preeja teacher who was teaching in std 10 on the topic 'applications of trigonometry'. She was following analytic method of teaching and students were very active in the class.  After that we got an opportunity to interact with the students. Interaction was very nice. The medium of communication was in English😂. Was afraid about it because I have difficulty in speaking English. But while interacting with the students we could handle it and interaction went on smoothly😊. The school induction program helps me to identify my weakness and helps to overcome it.Really enjoying the days.  While interacting with the students I asked them " what do you think about the good qualities of a teacher?  It was the last day our school internship phase 2. 35 days passed soon providing me lots of memorable experiences. Thank God for giving me this wonderful opportunity to be in here with my own school and own teachers 🥰❤️. We distributed sweets to all teaching and non teaching staff and to all students in our concerned classes. We presented a gift to school as part of our gratitude. Lots of precious moments... Lots of nostalgia... 💞 St Goretti's school is always have a special stand in my life.Thanks to Sr. Aquina, HM of St. Gorettis and my teacher who gave me all consideration and care. 😘🫂 Lots of love and happiness🥰❤️💞. Even though the days of internship ended I will always be a St. Goretian and will be there... as Sr Aquina says Iam their's daughter and my husband is son-in law.🥰❤️.

 Today the first session was taken by Maya teacher. Teacher taught us about ' Paradigm shift'.  " Teaching is a combination of arts and science". At the end of the session we all sang together some malayalam hit  songs. 🎵 After that MEd student teachers from Govt. Training College as a part of internship was officially welcomed by our Principal Dr. K Y Benedict sir.  Then we had Gibi teacher's session. Teacher described us maxims of teaching .  From 'Simple to Complex'.  From 'Known to Unknown'.  From 'Concrete to Abstract'.  From 'Near to Far'.  From 'Specific to General'.  After that we had our optional class.
