Today it was our Assembly Day. The first Assembly in this new year. It was conducted by Natural Science. 

They started with college anthem. Prayer, thought of the day,importance of the week, importance of the day, news, campus news,  logo release and book donation followed it. They all done their given activities very nicely. In the absence of our principal Gibi teacher gave us a nice message. Also teacher appreciated their effort in conducting the assembly. And she opinionated that it was systematic. 

The 'thought of the day' was very much related to our contemporary situation. It was very much inspirational. 

 "Live in the moment,make every moment meaningful, mindful, and worthful".



Also today our country is celebrating 'National Youth Day'- in memory of Swami vivekananda. In assembly they shared us the importance of this day. 
The theme for National Youth Day 2022 is “It's all in the mind,” a key teaching of Swami Vivekananda. 

After the assembly we had Shabana teacher's class and she taught us 'Role of society in Education'. 

Then we had Dona teacher's class. She taught us different 'Intelligence test'.

In the afternoon we had no class. We came to know that some of our classmates are covid positives. So our principal informed us that the classes should be online until next Wednesday. 
                      "This shall too pass".

 Today it was the third day of our school induction programme. The day started with prayer song and pledge. Sr Deepa and myself observed Mathematics class of Preeja teacher who was teaching in std 10 on the topic 'applications of trigonometry'. She was following analytic method of teaching and students were very active in the class.  After that we got an opportunity to interact with the students. Interaction was very nice. The medium of communication was in English😂. Was afraid about it because I have difficulty in speaking English. But while interacting with the students we could handle it and interaction went on smoothly😊. The school induction program helps me to identify my weakness and helps to overcome it.Really enjoying the days.  While interacting with the students I asked them " what do you think about the good qualities of a teacher?  Today the first session was taken by Maya teacher. Teacher taught us about ' Paradigm shift'.  " Teaching is a combination of arts and science". At the end of the session we all sang together some malayalam hit  songs. 🎵 After that MEd student teachers from Govt. Training College as a part of internship was officially welcomed by our Principal Dr. K Y Benedict sir.  Then we had Gibi teacher's session. Teacher described us maxims of teaching .  From 'Simple to Complex'.  From 'Known to Unknown'.  From 'Concrete to Abstract'.  From 'Near to Far'.  From 'Specific to General'.  After that we had our optional class.
