Thus Online classes started today. 
Classes were from 9am -12.30pm.
We had two hours of General classes and one hour of optional class. 
Learning through online class is a different experience😃. 

First session was taken by Dona teacher. She taught us 'Intelligence test' continuing the previous portion. 


Next session was our optional class. Deepthi teacher handled the session even though she was not well.😊 Teacher explained us how to write a video lesson plan. 

Then 'thought of the day' was presented by Arya. She shared us a beautiful story of 'Bill Gates' conveying us the message that 

"A beautiful heart can bring things into your life that all the money in the world couldn't obtain. " 🥰

Then Lekshmi presented 'Reading and Reflection' of the famous Japanese book 'IKIGAI : The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life' written by Hector Garcia and Francesc Miralles. 

Ikigai is a Japanese concept that means your reason for being. ' 'Iki' in Japanese means 'life,' and 'gai' describes value or worth. Your ikigai is your life purpose or your bliss. It's what brings you joy and inspires you to get out of bed every day.

Both of them presented very nicely.

After that the third session was taken by Shabana teacher. She taught us the life history of Dr S Radhakrishnan and then explained his views in the meaning and aims of education. 

Thus first day of online classes gone very well even at the time of this pandemic. 
"It is not that we use technology 
                 but we live technology. "

 Today it was the third day of our school induction programme. The day started with prayer song and pledge. Sr Deepa and myself observed Mathematics class of Preeja teacher who was teaching in std 10 on the topic 'applications of trigonometry'. She was following analytic method of teaching and students were very active in the class.  After that we got an opportunity to interact with the students. Interaction was very nice. The medium of communication was in English😂. Was afraid about it because I have difficulty in speaking English. But while interacting with the students we could handle it and interaction went on smoothly😊. The school induction program helps me to identify my weakness and helps to overcome it.Really enjoying the days.  While interacting with the students I asked them " what do you think about the good qualities of a teacher?  Today the first session was taken by Maya teacher. Teacher taught us about ' Paradigm shift'.  " Teaching is a combination of arts and science". At the end of the session we all sang together some malayalam hit  songs. 🎵 After that MEd student teachers from Govt. Training College as a part of internship was officially welcomed by our Principal Dr. K Y Benedict sir.  Then we had Gibi teacher's session. Teacher described us maxims of teaching .  From 'Simple to Complex'.  From 'Known to Unknown'.  From 'Concrete to Abstract'.  From 'Near to Far'.  From 'Specific to General'.  After that we had our optional class.
