 The last day in the first month of a new year. A month already...The time has gone by so quick... But moments last forever... ❤🥰

Very happy that tested covid negative on the last day, after ten days of quarantine.🤩

Today's first session was taken by our principal Benedict sir. Class started with a beautiful prayer song by Kareshma from NS. Then sir gave us a detailed explanation about the activities we have to complete on coming days. It includes

* Observation of a video lesson. 

* Micro teaching. 

* School induction. 

* Lesson plan. 

Sir also gave us an awareness about how helpful it is if we keep a 5 subject notebook📒. It was a new information for me. 

After that sir taught us about feedback, formative assessment and summative assessment.Then sir said us that we should ask 3 questions individually before going to teach. Also we discussed how should be the answers for those questions. 

After that sir introduced us a book📕 titled " Principles and Practice of Education "  of J S Farrant. Sir said that it will be a good guide for all of us. 


The second session was our optional class. Started with 'thought of the day' by Sreeja. It was an inspirational story of a little boy who wandered to buy God. The message she conveyed was

" God is always within. God lives in the good heart. ❤ So be good hearted ones. "

After that we had seminar presentation. Today it was done by Jeena. The topic was " Contributions of the great mathematician 'Bhaskaracharya' ". A nice presentation. She done it very well. 

Then Deepthi teacher taught us " Blooms Revised Taxonomy, it's specifications and Instructional objectives with specifications".

The third session was taken by Ancy teacher. Firstly teacher shown us a demonstration of how some of the features of Google Classroom is carrying out. 

Then teacher taught us the features of Adolescent age. The emotional development, physical development, social development, intellectual development and role of teachers during this stage were discussed.

 Today it was the third day of our school induction programme. The day started with prayer song and pledge. Sr Deepa and myself observed Mathematics class of Preeja teacher who was teaching in std 10 on the topic 'applications of trigonometry'. She was following analytic method of teaching and students were very active in the class.  After that we got an opportunity to interact with the students. Interaction was very nice. The medium of communication was in English😂. Was afraid about it because I have difficulty in speaking English. But while interacting with the students we could handle it and interaction went on smoothly😊. The school induction program helps me to identify my weakness and helps to overcome it.Really enjoying the days.  While interacting with the students I asked them " what do you think about the good qualities of a teacher?  It was the last day our school internship phase 2. 35 days passed soon providing me lots of memorable experiences. Thank God for giving me this wonderful opportunity to be in here with my own school and own teachers 🥰❤️. We distributed sweets to all teaching and non teaching staff and to all students in our concerned classes. We presented a gift to school as part of our gratitude. Lots of precious moments... Lots of nostalgia... 💞 St Goretti's school is always have a special stand in my life.Thanks to Sr. Aquina, HM of St. Gorettis and my teacher who gave me all consideration and care. 😘🫂 Lots of love and happiness🥰❤️💞. Even though the days of internship ended I will always be a St. Goretian and will be there... as Sr Aquina says Iam their's daughter and my husband is son-in law.🥰❤️.

 Today the first session was taken by Maya teacher. Teacher taught us about ' Paradigm shift'.  " Teaching is a combination of arts and science". At the end of the session we all sang together some malayalam hit  songs. 🎵 After that MEd student teachers from Govt. Training College as a part of internship was officially welcomed by our Principal Dr. K Y Benedict sir.  Then we had Gibi teacher's session. Teacher described us maxims of teaching .  From 'Simple to Complex'.  From 'Known to Unknown'.  From 'Concrete to Abstract'.  From 'Near to Far'.  From 'Specific to General'.  After that we had our optional class.
