31 March 2022- Summer Vacation begins

It was the last day of our academic year. Today's first section was taken by Benedict sir. Sir taught us about some skills in micro teaching like skill of questioning and skill of  explanation. 

 The second hour was taken by Gibi teacher. Teacher taught us about defence mechanism. It was the final class taken by our dear Gibi teacher. At the end of the section Maya teacher said her good memories and experience about Gibi teacher with us. Some of the students are also shared their memories. We all together sang some songs for Gibu teacher. It was very emotional and we took selfies with teacher. 

In the afternoon  the Malayalam Association Pragati conducted a program in connection with International drama day. Students from 4 optional performed a portion of different drama on the stage. Students from physical science option and won first prize natural science optional won second prize. From tomorrow onwards we are entering to mid summer vacation. 😍😍🥰

 Today it was the third day of our school induction programme. The day started with prayer song and pledge. Sr Deepa and myself observed Mathematics class of Preeja teacher who was teaching in std 10 on the topic 'applications of trigonometry'. She was following analytic method of teaching and students were very active in the class.  After that we got an opportunity to interact with the students. Interaction was very nice. The medium of communication was in English😂. Was afraid about it because I have difficulty in speaking English. But while interacting with the students we could handle it and interaction went on smoothly😊. The school induction program helps me to identify my weakness and helps to overcome it.Really enjoying the days.  While interacting with the students I asked them " what do you think about the good qualities of a teacher?  It was the last day our school internship phase 2. 35 days passed soon providing me lots of memorable experiences. Thank God for giving me this wonderful opportunity to be in here with my own school and own teachers 🥰❤️. We distributed sweets to all teaching and non teaching staff and to all students in our concerned classes. We presented a gift to school as part of our gratitude. Lots of precious moments... Lots of nostalgia... 💞 St Goretti's school is always have a special stand in my life.Thanks to Sr. Aquina, HM of St. Gorettis and my teacher who gave me all consideration and care. 😘🫂 Lots of love and happiness🥰❤️💞. Even though the days of internship ended I will always be a St. Goretian and will be there... as Sr Aquina says Iam their's daughter and my husband is son-in law.🥰❤️.

 Today the first session was taken by Maya teacher. Teacher taught us about ' Paradigm shift'.  " Teaching is a combination of arts and science". At the end of the session we all sang together some malayalam hit  songs. 🎵 After that MEd student teachers from Govt. Training College as a part of internship was officially welcomed by our Principal Dr. K Y Benedict sir.  Then we had Gibi teacher's session. Teacher described us maxims of teaching .  From 'Simple to Complex'.  From 'Known to Unknown'.  From 'Concrete to Abstract'.  From 'Near to Far'.  From 'Specific to General'.  After that we had our optional class.
